The answer to this puzzle is in the next room. But the stones have to correlate a certain way. It should be

-Investigate the cryptic message
-Find the Gauldur Amulet Fragment in Saarthal

***When you get to the part where you pick the lock and then go up to pull the lever for the bridge make sure you pull the right one. There are two, one of them activates some deathly rods, look up and to the right behind that lever to find the one that activates the bridge. ;)
To finish this quest you need to leave here and head to Geirmunds Hall it's just east of Ivarstead, on a small island.
